Owners Leo and Elsa Salinas are excited to announce that Gracie's Gold will be slightly adjusting hours. We will now be closed on Mondays, while all other hours will remain the same. Price of Gold Hits a Three Month High
The price of gold has been on the rise and has hit a three month high. The price for gold trading is $1319 per ounce and silver is $21 per ounce. These are the highest prices we have seen since mid-November. If you have and scrap jewelry, or estate and inheritance jewelry to liquidate, now is a good time to do it. What is in your Coin Collection?
After learning we buy coins, a costumer recently brought in her coin collection. I was immediately drawn to four very interesting coins.
“Let’s look at the rest of the coins,” I told her. “We’ll hold these four till the end,” I said, trying to conceal the smile on my face. I’m a lousy poker player, and she knew I was up to something.
She had a few silver coins in her box that were only worth about $20. But, she also had the four coins. Those coins happened to be late 19th and early 20th century gold coins. It was a very special find, worth much more than $1,000.
We sound like a broken record telling costumers, “Check your coin collections. Who knows what you’ll find in there.”

"We're getting married soon. We don't want to buy a wedding set out of a jewelry case. We'd rather have something unique made for us. Can you help us?" asks a young couple.
"My daughter is graduating from college. I'd like to get her a unique class ring. Not something off a catalog, but something that looks like this... explains one customer. "Oh, and the gemstone needs to match the school colors," she continued.
"We've been married 25 years, and I love my wife even more now that I did on our wedding day" says a male customer. "I'd like to make her a mother's ring with birthstones commemorating each of our children. Can you help do something like that?" he asks.
" My wedding ring set is old and dated," stated a customer. "I want an upgrade, but I want you to use my diamonds and the gold off my ring. Is this possible?" she asked.
"Can you make a wedding band with diamonds to compliment my engagement ring?" asks another customer. "I need the diamonds on the band to match those on my engagement ring," she continues.
